Wandering - The Great Orme
One sunny afternoon, we decided to take the car (and our lazy butts) for a little drive to the Great Orme in Llandudno. It's not the first time that we've explored here, but the sky was so clear and the sun so bright that I felt inspired to take some photos of our favourites spots.
I know that it might sound a bit creepy, but I actually really like walking around a cemetery! I'm always fascinated by the really old tombs and the atmosphere there is quite special, wether it's nice or gloomy.
We usually go up to the summit as the view is always beautiful and you can spot Anglesey in one direction, and the Welsh mountains in the other. It's these kind of views that remind me how lucky I am to live around here. I'm definitely not a city person! Fresh air and beautiful landscapes, that's all I need :)

Giveaway - Set of Birthday Cards!
Happy Friday everyone! To celebrate the weekend, I thought I would prepare a little giveaway!
I don't know about you, but Spring is definitely a season full of birthdays for us, and I decided that this year I would finally create a set of birthday cards that I can use for my dear friends and family. And because I hate to be selfish and keep cool designs for myself, you can actually download the whole set as a pdf file HERE!
The cards are A4 (A5 folded) and the back has a bold colour that matches the front. Hope you like them!

Happy Birthday Mum!
Today is my mum's birthday, and because I wanted to do something a bit special for her, I designed this card and sent it to her secretly so that she would have a nice surprise today. My sister now takes care of any family birthday and it's quite difficult for me to arrange any surprises knowing that I'm on another continent!
It gets quite hard sometimes (most of the time) to be far away from my family, especially on a day like this when you feel that you should be celebrating with them in person instead of on the phone. I guess you kind of learn to live with it, and after more than 3 years away, I got more use to it, but it's never easy.
I've always been a really independent person and to be honest, I feel like I can't breathe if I'm always surrounded by people or my family. And even if I wouldn't go and see them all the time if I was still living in France, it's the fact that I can't all of sudden think "I really need to see them, I'll go now" that hits me sometimes.
So I always try and make up for the fact that I'm not there, and I always remind them how much I love them. And I figured that the little things sometimes are the best :)

Wandering - Penrhyn Castle
Happy weekend! If you're in North Wales, bored and searching for things to do, just go visit this castle! It's my favourite so far and because it was actually built in 1820, everything is still pretty much the same as it was before, and I love it!
Need to see more? Well, that's why I thought I would share with you some photos I've taken a couple of weeks ago when we visited it for the second time and entry was free on St David's Day. (Did I mention that I love it?)
Yes I know, I think I got a bit carried away! But if you're interested, check out the National Trust website HERE :)
PS: There's also an amazing garden but unfortunately it was pouring down rain and hailstones on the day we went. Plan it when it's sunny outside!

Pinterest Addiction #10
How about some food inspiration this week? Lately on Pinterest, I've been pinning loads of recipes that look just A-MA-ZING!
1. I actually tried this one, and instead of the caramel, I added some Rolos in the middle of the mix... YUMMY
2. I've been searching for some cool brunch ideas and this Sandwich looks just perfect
3. I thought that these savoury twists would definitely do the trick for an appetiser with some friends
4. Who doesn't love brownies?! This one has caramel and Pretzel crust, yes, you read that well
5. I'm a sucker for pancakes and it's one of my favourites for a Sunday breakfast! I need to try this recipe with greek yoghurt
6. And finally, a tasty dessert that requires no baking... Ideal!

Portfolio Update #16 - Illustrated wedding invitations
Hey everyone! I'm so excited to show you this project!
Katie and Aaron were after some personalised invitations for their special day, and they approached me with the idea of an illustration representing themselves and their dogs in a heart shape made of flowers. After some research, I knew exactly the kind of style that would suit them and match the colour palette they've chosen. They wanted a bold typographic style for the back, and I enjoyed playing with a couple of typefaces and putting together a layout that makes the wedding information more visually interesting.
I'm really pleased with the result and I hope it gives you some inspiration!
Hope you all enjoy your weekend :)
