Hello friends! Can you feel the weekend vibe tonight? I definitely do! This weekend we've decided to take it easy and just enjoy some quiet time together. We'll probably go for a hike somewhere (I mean, we're surrounded by moutains so there's a lot of choice!) and then eat some yummy dessert I'll bake :). But my creative brain never stops, so I thought it was time for me to share some of my latest illustrative inspiration!
1. Who doesn't love cats? I certainely love this illustration from Hiroyuki Izutsu
2. I've definitely been into patterns recently and this one is quite cool
3. And this crazy illustration by Michela Picchi is just stunning!
4. Love the style and colours of this one. Makes me want to try a similar illustrative treatment!
5. Medicine and other everyday products have never been as cute as illustrated here by Grace Lee
6. Yet another illustration of Frida... Yes but in this one she's orange! (PS: Love her website!)
Have a good one peeps!

Portfolio Update #15 - Aberystwyth Spring Brochure
Hey everyone! Hope your week is going well so far :)
Remember the latest Aberystwyth brochure I've worked on at View Creative? Well I also had the pleasure to work on the new Spring edition and I so enjoyed creating a bright Spring cover in the middle of the gloomy Winter! Hope you like it to!
Have a nice evening!

Portfolio Update #14 - The Amazing World of Gumball!
Hey Guys! How you all doing in this freezing cold weather? Touch wood, no flu so far in the house!
Because I wanted to try a new technique thanks to the brand new graphics tablet that Santa brought me for Christmas, I decided to create a cute little tribute to this amazing cartoon I love to watch. Seriously, if you haven't watched it yet, you NEED to.
I have to admit, I'm quite proud of myself as I didn't think I could do something like this using just Photoshop. Well, here's to more digital only illustrations!

Portfolio Update #13 - Visit Llandudno 2015
Hey everyone! How you doing? With this horrible weather out there, I'm having hot chocolate on the couch, hoping that the roof won't disappear in the night!
I had the opportunity to work on the new edition of Visit Llandudno brochure in View Creative, and god I loved working on this project! The cover took me ages to illustrate, but the result is worth every minute spent on it ;)
The best feeling is when you can hold the printed copy in your hands... Relief!
Hope you like it as much as I do!

Christmas Break in France
Hey peeps! As promised, I thought I would share the nice break me and my bearded man had during the Christmas holidays with my whole family. Loads of precious memories :)
One of the first things we did is head into Nantes to check out the Christmas market. We definitely enjoyed our warm spiced beverages in this crisp cold weather! I love Passage Pommeraye, and because it's been renovated recently we had to visit and brave the hordes of Christmas shoppers to snap some photos and look at the window displays. Paroisse Notre-Dame was also a must-see.
After the craziness of three Christmas dinners with my family, we decided that a karting session would be quite fun (and also a good way to burn some calories!).
One quiet day, the sun was out and we all wanted some fresh air, so we visited the little town of Pornic and I have to say that it looked stunning! Everything was very still and just beautiful.
The weather decided to stay sunny for a couple more days so we made sure to make the most of it. My parents had some tickets for the new amazing Caroussel so we all enjoyed a walk around the docks before having a ride on one of these unique mechanical creatures made of wood and recycled metal. It was such a great experience! I definitely recommend it if you're around Nantes. And to finish the day, we visited the grand Cathédrale St Pierre where I found a really cool illustration (actually I don't remember much of the rest haha)!
It was hard to go back to reality to be honest, but I can't wait to work on some new exciting projects!
