Portfolio Update #12 - Christmas Cards

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a great one! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing my family, having a relaxing time and eating loads of amazing food.

I created these Christmas cards for my friends and family and I decided to send them by post to be a bit more traditionnal. Plus, how nice is it to receive a personnalised Christmas card in your letterbox? Nothing beats the excitment of nice mail :)

Right, I'm off now until the beginning of January, but don't worry, I've got a sweet January wallpaper ready for you!

Giveaway - Free 2015 Calendar!

Better late than never right? I wanted to do something a bit more special for the end of the year, and I thought that a downloadable calendar would be quite useful and look pretty on your wall! I've hand-painted each pattern myself and even if the process was quite long, I thoroughly enjoyed getting my hands on some paint to create playful and colourful patterns!

DOWNLOAD THE PDF HERE!

The calendar is an A4 format so it's handy for you to print. I've printed mine onto some thick uncoated paper as it's then thick enough to hang on the wall.

Enjoy! Hope it helps you make the most of the new year :)

Wandering - Betws-y-Coed Christmas Market

Hey everyone! How you doing? Any of you doing your Christmas shopping? As you might know, I'd already done mine by the end of November... But it doesn't stop me from enjoying the sights of a nice Christmas market! Even more if it's the one in Betws-y-Coed as I absolutely love the place.

Only thing is... There wasn't really a market. Even though it was quite nice to have a stroll around the town with all the Christmas decorations and visit the local shops with their traditional Christmas gifts, we were a bit disappointed to not see a proper market. We were looking forward to the nice stands offering mulled wine and other yummy treats! Oh well, it was still a nice day, and I snapped the best photo in the world with a grumpy bearded snowman!

Lately on Instagram #8

Hey there! How you doing? It's starting to get really cold outside and I'm enjoying the quiet evenings with a cosy blanket and the festive tree in the corner :)

Here's what I've been up to lately...
We went against the general consensus and put the tree up before December! / Last Saturday was a really nice sunny day... and I bought my first car! / I particularly love this shot because of the light / Breathtaking views in Newborough / ... And breathtaking views from our window! / Ah Cheshire Oaks and its massive Christmas tree. Couldn't miss it! / And I also couldn't resist taking a photo of Liverpool's Christmas tree obviously / Obligatory cliché photo of Beatles stuff in Liverpool / An exciting project I'm working on and which you'll hear about very soon :)

That's all folks!

You can follow me on Instagram and Twitter for more :)

Giveaway - Free December Wallpaper!

Yay! Are you ready for December? I SO am! Can't wait for Christmas now, even more because I'm going back to France as usual for the holidays, but this time, I'm going with my bearded man :)

Because I wanted to create a wallpaper that combines Winter and Christmas, I decided I wouldn't use the typical Christmas colour palette and do a mix of illustrations that can represent a bit of both. Hope  they put you in a festive mood!

You can download the first one HERE, and the second one with the calendar HERE. Don't forget to update your phone's background with the mobile wallpaper HERE!

Portfolio Update #11 - Totoro Birthday Card

Totoroooo! Well, it was an obvious choice for our friend's little boy's second birthday to create a card with a smiley Totoro. After painting a massive Totoro mural in his bedroom when he was tiny, he seems to have developed some kind of fascination for this character. Apparently, he's watched the movie about a 100 times. I don't blame him, I absolutely love My Neighbour Totoro and I've always been a fan of Miyazaki's movies. Do I have to say that I really enjoyed working on it? I guess not :)

Wandering - A Walk in Newborough

Hey guys! Last weekend we took advantage of the great sunny (but cold!) weather we had and went for a two hour walk in Newborough. And well... It was bloody worth it!

When I look at these photos, they just remind me how lucky I am to live in this part of the world.
